CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Since December 2024, responsible for the Deep Blue One cable system and the Sales Verticals for Oil & Gas, Finance, Government,
Hospitality and Conglomerates across all 25 Digicel market in the CALA region.
Led the Enterprise Division (Digicel Business Solutions) for 14 markets in the the Northern, Eastern and Southern Caribbean, including Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Running an annual P&L of circa $120m covering ICT and Corporate Postpaid mobile services.
Led the Southern Caribbean markets for Digicel Business, the enterprise division of Digicel, covering Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Guyana and Suriname, driving 75% revenue growth in four years in the ABC islands, led and launched the Fibre rollout in Guyana with 80% year on year revenue growth as a result.
Defined the strategy and transformation program for the Digicel B2B division in Haiti, the largest market entity in the Digicel Group Initiated the launch of the GPON Fibre Optic Network in Port au Prince and Cap-Haitien, Regional Broadband (Cap-Haitien), Managed Services and TDD-LTE networks.
Responsible for leading the turnaround project of a national operator with over 500 full-time employees in East Africa offering Mobile, Fixed Line, Enterprise, Managed Services, ISP and Carrier services to Retail, SME, Enterprise and Government clients.
Led operations for Vodacom Business in Nigeria ( Enterprise Services), their largest African market outside of South Africa.
Responsible for Uganda Telecom’s Fixed (Enterprise/B2B) Services division and for it’s turn around to make it the most profitable division in the company. ‘Fixed’ includes the following: Fixed line Voice, Postpaid GSM, M2M, FTTH, WiMAX, xDSL, CDMA, Managed Services, Leased Lines and international and national IP transit.
Implementation of integrated division wide monitoring/ticketing/CRM/WFM systems, definition and operation of the Carrier and International Wholesale business including Subsea Cable asset monetization as part of WIOCC. Definition of commercial strategy, product and services roadmap and driving dedicated Enterprise Sales Teams and Direct Sales force to increase revenues and subscriber base. Delivered double digit revenue growth year on year, for 2 years.
Established, built and successfully grew Nostracom Telecomunicaciones S.A. from a start-up into the largest fixed-wireless operator in Spain with hybrid wireless and fiber optic networks and an FTTH network for more than 42k homes and as Managing Director for Nostracom led the company to win the Telecommunications Business Innovation Award in 2010.
Designed and operated a complete fulfillment system for Modus Media which enabled us to provide our major client, Microsoft, with the ability fulfill orders throughout the EMEA region resulting to a USD 18M increase in revenue under this contract.
